Netflix Lost Almost a Million Subscribers in the Last Quarter

On Tuesday, Netflix reported its second-quarter 2022 earnings, revealing it lost 970,000 subscribers in the last three months.
Netflix subscriber changes:
- US and Canada: Lost 1.3 million subscribers.
- Latin America: No Changes.
- Europe and West Asia: Lost 770,000 subscribers.
- Asia Pacific: Gained 1 million subscribers.

Netflix reported it currently has 220.67 million customers worldwide, projecting an increase by 1 million in Q3.
Revenue increased 8.6% year over year. Operating income totaled $1.6 billion and net income $1.4 billion for the quarter, according to Netflix.
