On Monday, UN secretary general António Guterres warned ministers from 40 countries that mankind is on the verge of committing "collective suicide."

The Petersberg Climate Dialogue, is a two-day climate conference hosted by the German government for the past 13 years.
Ministers gathered in Berlin to discuss the effects of extreme weather, climate change and rising prices for fossil fuels and food.
