12 Dead from Toxic Gas Leak in the Port of Aqaba, Jordan

On Monday, toxic chlorine gas leaked out of a container killing 12 people and injuring 260 in the port of Aqaba, Jordan.

A CCTV camera captured the incident when a crane suddenly dropped a container, unleashing a cloud of yellow gas onto the ship and the port.
Eight of the victims were Jordanians, and the other casualties were of various nationalities, according to the government.

Among the injured, 123 are being treated in hospitals.
