The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is prohibiting the sale of all products sold by Juul, one of the largest e-cigarettes makers in the US.
Juul said it would challenge the decision in court.

The move is one of the FDA's recent anti-smoking efforts, including plans to reduce nicotine from cigarettes to make them less addictive.
In 2020, Juul and other e-cigarette makers were required to submit its products to the FDA for review.
The agency has been looking into the advantages of vaping as a cigarette substitute, but the items' popularity among young people has raised concern.
In 2019, more than a quarter of high school students were using e-cigarettes, according to a federal survey.
