Square Enix's 25th Anniversary event revealed Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion.

The next chapter in the Final Fantasy VII remake project is called Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

Project producer Yoshinori Kitase revealed that the series will be a trilogy.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will launch next winter on PS5.

Square Enix also announced Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII- Reunion, the remaster of the PSP original prequel Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.

It will launch this Winter on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Steam and Nintendo Switch.
