General Motors (GM) has lowered the price of the Chevrolet Bolt hatchback and the Bolt EUV electric models by about $6,000.
GM had to recall all of its 142,000 Bolts ever sold due to an unusual battery fire hazard.
GM just recently resumed production of these vehicles in April, after a nine-month hiatus while it dealt with the safety problem.
Both use older-generation GM batteries rather than the more recent Ultium packs.
The Bolts have a respectable range, with the hatchback travelling 247 miles and the EUV doing 259 miles on a single charge.
Before the price cut, the Bolt EUV sold for $33,500.
